I strive to merge order, function, style, and affordability in a way that helps turn your house into the home you want. I bring a calm, thoughtful and respectful approach to home consulting and organizing. I understand that often the most difficult part is just picking up the phone.
Since 2004 I have been restoring old homes in Chicago. I love taking the neglected and making it pretty, the chaotic and making it functional. In between the homes I work on, I take on a steady stream of private clients, helping with anything from organizing a small bedroom closet to remodeling a whole basement. I love sharing the tips and tricks I have picked up over the years to change people's view of how to solve the problems they come across in their home.
Previously I managed a software development team at a publishing house. After over ten corporate years, producing thousands of software programs for teachers and students my skills of project management and problem solving were well honed. I took these skills and married them with my other true loves; vintage architecture, organization, design and the city Chicago. I work under my own name, because I want you to know I will be the one that picks up the phone and I will be the one that shows up at your doorstep. Me, you, and the home you want.
